Released last April, the Four Seasons is an interactive ebook. It starts with a nice page with the song “Happy Earth Day to You” in the tune of the Happy Birthy To You song. This page is already full of interactions.
You can touch on the ducks and rabbits and they will move and make a sound. The text “Happy Earth Day” will make the heart shaped globe go around.
This is just the first page. The entire app is full of this interactive features. Each page will have more than 5, maybe. If you don’t know which one can be interactive, just press the HELP icon from the menu bar found below the screen. It will show all the things you can touch to interact with the app. There is plenty to explore and will be fun discovering them with your kids.
The Four Seasons app is all about taking care of the earth. So each page has something about the different seasons and how to save the environment. The activities are simple and can teach your child good habits on have to take care of Mother Earth. But I would still suggest that parents should bring their children outside and get to do the tasks the hands on way.
The narration, however, was not well recorded. Some words are muffled or poorly spoken. Better read the texts yourself to your kids.
Overall, the Four Seasons Ipad App are great for kids. The interactive features will surely be a fun for the children. They would love touching those trees and animals on the screen.
